Why is Google Sync not working

Synchronization is the process that refreshes the app and this is done by the device. The device periodically syncs the app such as Google and then delivers the latest news of the same, such as New Mail from Gmail, updated features of the Google apps, and of course Contacts.

  1. Open Settings on your Android device.
  2. Tap on the Accounts and there you will find the list of applications, select Google.
  3. Verify the sync details and enable all the settings in ON mode by tapping on the radio button.
  4. Thereafter, tap on the Sync Now button, located at the bottom of the page.

Update your Android device

  • Open Settings.

  • Soon, you will get the latest version of the Android; just tap on ‘Install’.
  • The device will be configured with the latest version and you will get rid of the Sync issues.

Remove and Add Google Account

Remove Google Account

  • Open Settings on your Android device.
  • Scroll down the page and tap on ‘Accounts & Sync’.
  • You will get the list of accounts; select Google and then tap on the Delete button.

Add Google Account

  • Move to the Settings and then tap on Accounts & Sync.
  • Tap on Add Account and then enter your Google credentials and complete the process.
  • After finishing the above step, restart your device to get access to Google.
  • If still getting the issues, then ‘Update Google and its products from the Google Play Store.

Update Google

  • Open Google Play Store.
  • Swipe the slider from the right to the left to get access to the Menu.
  • Tap on ‘My apps & games.
  • Thereafter, you will find the list of installed apps, select Google, and tap Update.
